Seniors

If you're going to read anyway, you may as well get gifts and win prizes! For ages 55 plus, sign up to read and get a free book bag from 2-1-10 through 3-31-10. Fan Fiction and Fan Art Contest
All Ages

Today is the first day to enter the Southern Oaks Library 2010 Fan Fiction, Fan Art contest. Fan Fiction must be 2500 words or less. Fan Art can be any medium. All entries must be copyrighted characters. Entry forms are available at the Reference Desk. Winners will be announced March 20, at 2:00pm at Southern Oaks Library. Book Trailer Contest
Ages 10-18

Do you like books? What about YouTube videos? Why not combine the two and win $100 to boot? You could do just that in Ralph Ellison Library's book trailer contest. So, what is a book trailer anyway? A book trailer is kind of like a movie trailer, except it promotes a book instead of a film. You must live in Oklahoma and be between the ages of 10-18 to enter. All entries must be posted by May 30, 2010. Call the library for complete contest rules (405) 424-1437.
