Tai Chi for Better Balance is a modified 8 step form of Tai Chi which focuses on weight shifting and low impact movement exercise to improve balance, mobility and reduce daily stress. Art Exhibit: Artist Eric Humphries

Artist Talk Sunday, May 19, 3 to 4 PM

Unfortunate Son, the latest series of paintings by Oklahoma artist Eric Humphries, will be on display during the month of May at the Midwest City Metropolitan Library. The six canvas series centers around the Vietnam conflict and takes its inspiration from a group of letters written home by the artist's father. The exhibit combines six four by four foot canvases along with personal mementos and photographs to tell the story of one of the most divisive times in American history. Unfortunate Son runs through the month of May.

Reading to a dog is a great way to practice reading aloud; the dogs and their owners are an uncritical audience.
